NAMOA Members, Vendors, and Supporters:
We are at the 3 month count down to the 2020 NAMOA Training Conference in beautiful Bend, Oregon. The Bend and Redmond Police Departments have been leading the charge, and have been working extremely hard for the last 9 months coordinating a great event this May.
Remember the conference begins on Wednesday, May 20 and will continue daily through Friday, May 22; at which time the member banquet will be held at the end of the day Friday.
Rider check in will begin on Tuesday, May 19 in the later afternoon. We strongly encourage everyone to pick up your registration materials on Tuesday as the schedule will begin to get busy on Wednesday morning. There will be a short time to pick up registration Wednesday morning prior to the rider briefing and opening ceremony, for those arriving later.
If you have not registered for the conference, please don’t wait much longer. In order to ensure the conference committee can properly plan for lunches, t-shirts, the banquet, etc; getting the correct and most accurate information is critical.
Please get yourself, your teams, and any vendor support registered very soon. Conference registration can be made very easily via our NAMOA web site. The conference schedule, should you need to attach this with your training applications, and the host hotels are also on the conference page tab on the web site for your convenience.
Whether your coming from Canada, California, Idaho, Nevada, Washington or within the great state of Oregon; please travel safe and be prepare to work hard, have fun, and network with friends. We have some returning friends registered from Nevada again, and some new California agencies interested in attending. All the more reason to attend and increase your network portfolio.
Lastly we will be looking for an agency or agencies to partner and host the 2022 NAMOA Training Conference. It’s been a while since we’ve been to Washington….hint, hint. Please consider talking to your admin and inquiring about hosting for 2022. We’d like to try and secure a host agency at this year’s general membership meeting.
I’m certainly looking forward to seeing everyone; both the “usual suspects” as well as our newest members and vendors.
Until then please be safe and get registered soon.
Enjoy the day!
